Why do you think it is forced on you? Why are they doing it to you??? Does it hurt really badly?? What is their purpose??

not sure where you are talking about british music out sells american music in britain. american music and movies that do well in britain do so because people want to see them. so theres no forcing there. i cant speak for the rest of Europe mind.

It's about marketing and advertising pressures. The U.S. American public is subject to it as well, it's just less obvious.

Huge amounts of money go into promoting U.S. pop culture. A lot of Europeans fall for it. It's free will, but the choices are skewed. It's a bit of brainwashing either way. And the purpose is to gather even more excessive amounts of money into media corporations' pockets.

The American culture you speak of is not the REAL culture of America. It's the capitalism of America that is subtly creeping up wherever there is a market. It's not being FORCED.
