Today our prime minister in waiting accually advised people to vote for Shilpa to stay in the BB house to prove that the Brits are not racists. Surely voting for anyone on racial grounds is racist? I feel positive discrimination in the wrong place can do more harm than good and this is the wrong place for a politician of Gordons standing to get involved.
A vote for Shilpa is now a vote for racism?

If jade had disagreed with a girl fatter, skinnier, thicker, more intellegent than herself etc etc would the same arguements be going on?! a clash of personalities and cultures has caused the media to immediately jump to racism. Get over it people. If Shilpa was the stronger one in the whole battle or the one doing impressions of Jade then people would not be saying she was racist to Jade would they?! Although I agree that Jade has been out of line a little I dont think it is a race issue at all. Jade likes to argue, some people are like that. it wouldnt be such a big deal if it was between Jade and Danielle or any other housemate. I have stopped watching it, not because i dont like the show but because i think the media are pathetic. Again, political correctness gone crazy

Jermaine when he first went into the house said he was glad to see Shilpa He was in the garden talking about Jackiey(Jade,s mum) and he said we have people like that in America White trash He was talking about the argument with Jade and Shilpa and he yeah its because of her colour. I think its about time that everyone that said a racist comment is blamed.

Actually, what Gordon Brown said was quite a bit less direct, more about speaking out against racism.

The man is in INDIA for crying out loud. He probably hasn't seen more than a few minutes' clips, if that. He wants to talk budgets and economics -- this is Gordon Brown after all -- and he keeps getting asked questions about this mess. He's been forced to say something, so what else is he going to say?

Please be reasonable and stop criticising Gordon Brown for what he said - fairness is part of the British values if you don't know.Gordon is just trying to protect it by speaking up.
When Saddam was hanged some weeks ago Tony Blair was criticise for keeping silent for some days, even when he finally broke his silence the critics said it was too late
