Actually "Says Me" 0-9 leaves 10 possibilities. So it would be
10 * 10 * 10 * 10 or 10,000 possibilities.
Now if you can't reuse number then it would be
10 * 9 * 8 * 7 or 5040 possibilities
Hope that helps...Good Luck with your math

If your password conists solely of 4 numerical digits strung together, then there are 10 possibilities for the first digit, 10 for second, etc. The answer is 10*10*10*10 = 10,000.
Another way to think of this is that the 4 digits create a number from "0000" to "9999". This would be the same if the numbers could go from "0001" to "10,000", so there are 10,000 combinations.

if you can repeat numbers the possibilities are 10^4.
If you cant repeat numbers each combination of ten numbers taken by four can be permutated by 4!
In this case the possibilities are 10*9*8*7/4! *4! =5040 instead of
10.000.

The first digit can be: 0,1,2,3,...,9 (which is ten possible numbers)
The second digit can be: 0,1,2,3,...,9 (which is ten possible numbers) etc.
Now you calculate 10^4 which is 10000. (4 because you have 4 digits)
