Yes, he is in trouble, he has spent his political capital, and is borrowing now, it is like the national debt with all the wrong that he has done. I think that the more that comes out with scooter that Bush and Cheney might be in trouble. But I would be willing to bet that scooter won't spend much time in jail as they have a deal to pardon him if he covers up enough.

1. With two Republicans siding with the Democrats on a Bill to stop Bushes effort for increase in troops.
-
That's because there are left-wing Republicans in congress. There always has been. I can see some Republicans changing their opinions because it'll help their poll numbers as individuals, but I think most probably won't. They'll stick to what they feel is right despite bad poll numbers.
2. More information that may come out with the trial of Scooter Libby.
-
Libby knowingly lied about it. It's no big deal.
3. Released news about Dick Cheney.

They're pretty biased reports and the offered meetings are usually publicity stunts. We know Iran does not want to help us in Iraq because they are paying off the terrorists who are our enemy.

I know some Republicans have turned on Bush. I also know there are a couple that have sided with Bush as well. But the bottom line is, this won't affect Bush's decision of sending more troops. The plan is already under way. There was also word from some of the generals, that this temporary surge in troops could start withdrawing from Iraq by late Summer depending on the circumstances. I believe that when Bush's plan starts showing results, he will start getting more support. Regardless of the past reasons for going to war. We are there. Nothing we can do about that now. So the best thing to do is figure out how to win this thing. People that complain about this war and haven't been there fighting, have no right to complain. I seriously think this new plan will allow our troops to do what they have been trained to do. Now let's kick some *** so we can come home. God Bless our troops and God bless America.

I believe to some extent they will. That extent will depend on their home states and how their home states feel. These guys only care about getting re-elected.
So if their home turf is very supportive of Bush they will maintain their alligance.
If their homestates are not supportive of Bush they will turn on him.
Did you notice nowhere in there did the idea of doing what is right for the country or what you truely believe in come up.
Congress people are whores and the captial building in Washington is the biggest whore house in the history of the planet. So they will do what benefits them personally the most.
Psst. Hey Sparky. What kind of insider are you?

Bush showed no regard in helping his fellow republicans with the election in november and his war stratagy costing them the house and senate so why not go against him! If they only did that before November things would be different!

The problem is that people don't understand the full scope of what's happening. As an "insider" I can tell you what Bush is doing is required.
Besides, wasn't that Kerry's original plan? Oh yeah, I forgot he flip-flopped so much no one can remember.
__________
Psst... trichbopper, if I told you, I would no longer be an insider.
