symptoms of twins.?

twins run on the dads side of my fiancee. i havent had an ultrasound yet so what are some symptoms of having twins? are they the same as a regular single pregnancy would be?
i am only 6 1/2 weeks and pants are already tighter than normal, ive gotten sick plenty of times... im just curious.

I was VERY sick when I was pregnant with my twins. So sick I couldn't hold anything down and was put on an IV. I didn't gain weight for the first couple of months but my stomach was getting bigger. Looked about 5 months pregnant at 3 months. My husband's father was also a twin. I didn't find out I was having twins until I was about 11 months and ended up in the ER with back pain and they gave me an ultrasound. Turned out there was a second baby pushing on my kidney.

There are NO symptoms of twins, getting fatter and sick is normal for any pregnancy, you are just goin g to have to wait for the ultrasound. I had 4 ultrasoundw with my daughter cause she was a whopper the doctor thought there might be a smaller baby hiding behind her. but no just a 10lber.

i could be wrong but i think that the "running in the family" has to be on the moms side...being that it is your body and your egg that must split to make the twins..not really anything to do with the sperm...still i suppose that there is a chance...but i would just wait until your ultrasound to see how many heartbeats there are..check this link out and it will explain why your guys genetics doesnt come into play when we are talking about twins

there are no known "symptoms" that are different from having a single birth or a multiple birth...i was 8 weeks pregnant and already had to go into maternity jeans and i was carrying 1 baby...
just because your jeans are tighter and getting sick often does not mean there are more than 1 babies in there...

only way to tell is 2 heartbeats or you babies on the ultrasound screen

They're different for everyone. You could experience double the symptoms or none at all. Mine was that I was measuring bigger, and my doc didn't tell me that until after I had my ultrasound and got a huge shock (twins don't run on either side).
