As much as we all would love to see Pam and Jim end up together, I think it could ruin the tension of the show...especially if it happens this eary in the show's hopefully long run.

Side note.....is the office romance angle getting over the top? We now have 4 couples....Dwight/Angela, Michael/Jan, Ryan/Kelly, and Karen/Jim (we'll see if that survives last week). Unless they have Oscar and Toby start going out, there isn't much room for new romance angles.

i cant believe ryan and kelly are still together. he doesnt even act like he likes her.

i dont know if pam and jim would ruin the show if they got together..they have pretty good writers, they could make it work. but dwight and angela are the BEST couple! hahahaha...i wish they would do more with that! so much good could come out of that.

i love the office!!

I LOVE Dwight and Angela together! And I love how secretive they are about it. Only Jim and Pam know they are a couple, but they don't know that they know. And I thought Ryan sounded kind of like an *** last night to Jim. If he hates being there so much he should quit, his mopey attitude is annoying. And as for Jim and Pam I think if they got together right away it would lose that interesting aspect of them flirting and ect. It would be nice if they just finally got together, but maybe not to soon.

Jamie

on a side note I don't really think Michael and Jan are a couple because she is just desperate and lonely, and he is to crazy to even be a real human being.

They are my new Ross and Rachel. haha The budding tension between them reminds me, as well as so many people I think of that crush... that one that you liked so much but never knew they liked you. Or you both liked each other but the timing was never right. They are not only the two most adorable characters on television right now, but they are really the heart of the Office story. They're the center that keeps everything grounded and moving forward amidst all the chaos that is that environment. And finally John Krasinski is my total crush right now and I want to see him end up with the sweet girl cause on some level I think I relate to her. Yeah so I'm a 14 year old trapped in a 23 year old's body. haha. ps. Love The Office if that hasn't been made clear yet. Glad to know there are other people out there pullin for JAM too!

Speaking from the future, it's still great. Even better actually, when rewatching I can't bring myself to watch before season 4 as it's just painful to see them both so obviously in love with one another but unaware of the other person's feelings, it really appeals both comically and sentimentally one they are together, engaged, married, with children etc. They are just a perfect couple, although it sounds rather cliched. Not that you need to know this anymore, I just felt the need to talk about it lol. I'm only 8 years late, come on.

Yeah, but all the couples are so different it stays interesting. I agree though that Jim and Pam can't get together, but at the same time how long can they drag out the "hidden" feelings for each other? I love that show and I also hope it's headed for a long run.

I'm not sure if it would ruin the show or not but they would definitely have to take it in a different direction. If they did get together, hopefully they would drag it out until the end of the season. As far as the other romances, they're kind of peripheral, I mean, when was the last time we even saw or heard anything from Kelly?

I laughed so hard during last night's episode! You are right, though, if the writers allow Pam & Jim to become a full-fledge couple, the show wouldn't be nearly as interesting. My husband does feel that Jim's new girl will soon leave the show as she is the last of the employees that transferred in.

Good question!

I think they'll get together but then break up because someone new comes to the show. All of the romances in the office are what happens in real life.

Yes, as much as we all would love for Jim & Pam to get together... it would ruin the show.

She did Jim dirty once. I think the other girl looks better than pam anyways. When I saw that scene last night, all I could do is scream Dumb a** at jim through the tv.
