Those are a few of my favorites hope there is some there you like too.

To Dizneyfreak above there is nothing about having a Muslim name that is cruel. You dont consider Dakota or McKenzie or Rummer or Macaulay weird first names? I'd rather my child have a good Muslim name and people can think of it what they will. Don't you know Sarah and Hannah are Muslim names but I'm sure they where not teased at school. Even with Muslim names. We dont do things in this life to suit other people prejudice and bigotry. Do you?

Well, I like:

Shalimar -named for gardens built by Shah Jahan( guy who built Taj Mahal) near Lahore, Pakistan; used later by a French company as a perfume name,

Laila - "night beauty",

Nargis - means "flower",

Nadira - "precious" or "scarce"- I guess they mean "rare"

Rana - "beautiful", "eye-catching"

Zara - "radiance"

Aisha - "alive and well",

Safiyah - "pure" or "friend"

Aida (from and Italian opera, but has an Arabic meaning -
"reward, present")

Razia - "contented"

Ambar - the english "amber" is derived from this and is the golden semi-precious resin substance

Zeenat - "gorgeous"

Rania - "delighted"

Kamilah - "perfect"

Hana - "happiness", "flower", "work"

Jena - "little bird"

Faryal,

Yasmin - "jasmine"

And a really sweet one Qandi - meaning "sweet" from which the word 'candy' is from,

I put in the ones I liked. But you can check others - see the links below....

How about a GOOD Muslim middle name instead. Kids can be cruel and kids have problems with, what they consider, weird names.
