Definitely. Age is an attitude. 40 is really after you've got your education, a home, a car, paid off student loans AND get to know yourself a little bit better so you know what you want from life and know when you are ready to compromise and when you aren't.
In your 40's you have more appreciation for who you are and realize you've made it on your own and if you choose to have a partner is not because you "need" one but because you "want" one. Know that you are beautiful the way you are and enjoy your life and have new experiences. The universe will take care of the rest. Just appreciate yourself and live life to the fullest.

Yes! I am 42 and started dating again a couple of years ago, met a wonderful guy last January and am much in love with him. I can't say for sure we'll get married, but I am happy now. I think it's best to be together at least two years before marrying to make sure you really know everything about the guy. I met him on match.com--so, I do recommend online dating.

I don't know why not. Look at Warren Beatty. I worked with a woman who had never been married until she was in her late 60's. And a former supervisor who didn't get married until he moved into a retirement home. He is in his late 70's. So go for it. You're still young & I think you're in the best years of your life (I've been there).

YES YES YES. I did. I got married for the 2nd time when I was 42 and have been for 7 years now. Wouldnt swop the little squirt for anything. Of course it happens. Good luck.

yes i believe at any age love can find you. sometimes we have climb alot of small hills to get to the top of the mountain but once we get there it make all worth while. so keep looking don't worry be happy for who you are, be happy with your self and then you can be happy with some one else.

Possibly, but it is too late to start a family. You may be able to find someone to live and travel with, leading to marriage.
