Ok. I downloaded an animated cursor from Cursors-4U.com. Now how do I put it as my computer's main cursor?

You have already infected your computer with spyware. Now, get a free anti-spyware like AdAware or SpyBot and scan your computer to get rid of it.

Go to: Control Panel > Mouse
Click Pointers tab, select cursor type you want to replace, browse for downloaded cursor file

i dont know about that one.i use this place called cursor mania.and they are easy to use just pick one out of the thousands an click on it and ta da it works instantly.
