Ok right now I am 10 weeks 1 day pregnant. I had an doc appt. on the 24th but had to cancel because I will out of town. They made one for Feb 12th. I will be 13 weeks 4 days then. Is that ok for a first ob appt? I went when I was 8 weeks for an u/s and everything looked good. I am just scared that something might happen between now and then. Thats the first opening they had and this wil be my forth pregnancy but I have had one miscarriage almost 4 years ago. So actually third baby. Thanks for all answers.

Oh i went through this too. My doctor was so booked the first opening they had was when i was two months pregnant. Honestly there is nothing to worry about. I felt the say way. When they are that little the doctor told me that there was not a lot to do except just answer questions. My son is 3 months now so i dont think that it hurt him. I know what you feel though. It should be ok, as long as the last appt went well and you have started your prenatal vitamins. In the beginning of a pregnancy doctors only see women once a month unless there are medical issues. Don't worry.

I called the healthcare professional's place of work, and instructed them I were given an excellent. They scheduled me for an appointment even as i might want to be 8 weeks pregnant (going by technique of my very last era). on the first appointment, they did a pap, they did a vaginal ultrasound to verify the being pregnant, and then they took an total medical heritage and a ton of blood for checks.

So long as nothing funny is happening (and by now, you'll know what's normal and what's not), you're fine until then. Some women don't even realize they're pregnant until that time or later, so it's not like no one has ever waited that long before.

dont worry it will be fine...i couldnt get into an og/gyn with my 1st until i was 7mths pregnant, until then i saw my regular docotor...u have nothing to worry about, just enjoy your pregnancy and the time u r spending out of town. Good luck and congratulations
