That depends on what is wrong -heater core, blower switch , fuse , duct doors not operating, blower motor, even the thermostat not opening up properly ,low level of antifreeze, system is clogged. Mechanics are 40-60 an hour+parts, if you can ascertain whats is wrong fix it yourself- you will save.

It depends on what is wrong.... could be thermostat, blower mother, actuators that run the heater doors, heater core, low collant level...

Give us some specifics....does it blow air? Cold? Warm?

It will depend what needs repairing or replacing. It could be as simple as an airlock, which would be cheap. Or it could be that the heater core needs to be replaced, which could be expensive in parts and labor.

Find a good independent mechanic and get him/her to check it out. Ask around your friends for a good mechanic. There are so many cowboy "mechanics" out there..........

Good luck.

Heater core?
Blower fan?

Anywhere from 30 cents to 300 dollars.
