Is it hard to learn the controls on it?What I mean is do they show you in game what does what like a tutorial or do you have to figure all that out on your own by talking to NPC's?

Ok, I am a WoW addict, and I can tell you, if you've ever played any kind of FPS game on the pc, you can control your toon. The W, A, S, and D keys used in movement (like a FPS), and you can also you the mouse by holding down the left and right buttons. It's a very easy game to learn, and it kicks ***! There is a tutorial in the beginning, by the way.

WoW is a very easy and basic game to learn how to play; which is why it has so much success. W,A,S,D are the default keys for moving your character around while also using your mouse to help move around the character in a 3rd person or first person view. These can be changed as well in the options menu. The begining of the game has the tool tips set up for you so that it is easy to learn to play and interact with NPC's and other players as well. It does take some time to get used to and for it to become instinct. In the options there is also alot of custom options to help suit the way you would like to play. If all else fails read the manual to the game. Good luck and have fun. Horde FTW!

If you are referring to moving your character, I believe the only way to do this is with your keyboard. Movement was certainly tricky in WoW and GuildWars is infinitely better at this than WoW.

As far as a tutorial, I do not think WoW had one. Neither does Guild Wars but GW does give many tips early on that are helpful.

there isn't a tutorial you just have to learn from experience. from levels 1-6 is pretty easy and you can pretty much learn how to do the basics through those levels.
