Should weapons be banned? I want your opinion.?

Remember no matter what the law the black market will always be selling weapons. Yes making it illegal to own weapons will stop those gun accidents at home. If weapons are banned the honest people will not have anything to defend themselves if someone with an illegal gun attacks them. I say don't ban them because people will have weapons just the wrongs ones!

Like I said no matter if weapons are legal or illegal people will still have them. Taking peoples right to weapons will not stop the criminals from harming them. Read my opinion before you answer!

Its in our Constitution the right to bear arms.
So NO I do not believe that weapons to be banded.
The Problem is the lack of knowledge.
People should be trained of how to use a gun properly.
With Parents that owns guns. The guns should be lock up, and the bullets in a different place.

Locks (guns) are meant to keep honest people honest. People will break the law no matter what it is. With no means or even the percieved threat, of defending yourself the criminals will run wild.

I think that gun shops should have more extensive back ground checks done on their customers. I feel people who want to own a gun, must go through gun safety training and pass!

Most of these accidents are PREVENTABLE! Gun control is locking up guns and properly handling them. Guns do not go off and shoot people. People shoot people.

there's extremes on both sides of the issue here. an outright ban isn't warranted, but neither is the NRA's position that all citizens have a right to an AK-47.

the ultimate question is: how do we screen out the people who want to use firearms for nefarious purposes? i have no problem with the law-abiding hunter who wants to use his .22 to go deer hunting, but the gang-banger or the paranoid schizophrenic who left threatening notes at the post office where he was just laid off? those people shouldn't even be allowed to buy a slingshot.

Yes they should be banned! The only reasons why people have them is to cause bodily harm to someone, kill an animal or the ones who can't defend themselves, get tough and use your hands to kick someones ***-has everyone gotten so weak that they have to carry a weapon to get their point across. There is no need to kill animals for food anymore either, we live in modern times where you can find anything you want at a grocery store-big corporations raise and kill animals to feed your guts.Almost everyday I hear of a child being killed or hurt by a weapon that their parents didn't lock up so obviously people aren't smart enough to keep them away from the kids. Has anyone in your family been murdered with an idiot with a gun? Someone in my family has-I think you would feel differently if it had happened to someone in your life.
