Whilst colouring my hair last night (a semi-permanent red colour), I accidentally got some of the colour on my bathroom door, which is wooden, but painted with gloss paint.

I tried to get it off with water, soap, and then bleach, but it hasn't shifted. Is this permanent damage which I would have to paint over, or is there something I can use to get rid of the marks?

Thanks!

LOl... You should see my bathroom cabinet right now... Also wooden. I think Im just going to prime it and paint right over it.

It annoys the heck out of me and every time I go in there I try something else to get it off.

After 20 + years of hair coloring you would think I would have known better... I still do it.

Cigarette ashes get it off your skin that's all I know...
