1. growing or high (both seem to make sense--I assume the "correct" answer is high)
2. answer

Both seemed fairly easy to me, involving different senses in which the words are used.

2,500 is a good number. I'm writing a book as well, I have the chapters as, 2,500 words or more. Nothing less. It also depends on how many chapters. I'm doing about as many chapters there is in the Hunger games or Divergent or The Young World... But as Daniel said, your book can be as small or as big as you want it to be. Its the world that you have created, it starts when you want it to start and it ends when you want it to end. Let your imagination fly
