Unfortunately you'll have to wait on your doctor i really don't think there is anything that you can take without the consult of your doctor because you are pregnant

I have been pregnant three times and am 38 weeks with my third now. From experience diarrhea is just like vomiting and it can cause you to be dehydrated, not safe. So if you are feeling week and everything is running through you I would go to the ER and get fluids and if there is something you can have they will give it to you. Its very dangerous to get dehydrated. I know from past experience, because your body will take care of baby first so you suffer from it. I was severely dehydrated with my first son and I was put in the hospital. Not fun.. So be CAREFUL!
Good Luck and take care!!

Well your #1 resource is your local pharmacist. Most pharmacists know far more about drugs than most doctors! It is all they do, generally they stay up to date and as a whole they deserve far more respect than they get.

Another great resource for more serious problems is to call Motherisk.org. However they are only open Mon-Fri 9-5 EST.

Take care! And be sure to drink plenty of liquid as dehydration is a risk factor for preterm labour.

You can drink Coke syrup. I think most stores at least sell a brand might be cola syrup it is basically just the cola with out the fizz and a bit sweeter. It helps sooth the stomach. another sugestion is go to any drug store and ask the pharmacist. They are pretty knowledgable about things you can and cant have. But drink as much water gatorade and juice as you can. KEEP HYDRATED. Hope this helps.

The only thing you can take is Immodium, and only the smallest dose necissary. This will prevent you from becoming too dehydrated; being dehydrated can set off contractions, so you are better off taking Immodium than having contractions. The benefits outweigh the risks in your situation. Unfortunately, you cannot take anything for the nasea.

I had a bad stomach virus with vomitting and the other when I was pregnant and my doctors told me the only thing I could do was to keep hydrated. So I drank water and kool-aid all day and had to rough it out.

to be on the safe side I would only eat crackers, rice and tea that might help the diarrhea, it will work it's self out of your system soon. Feel better and take care of that baby

This virus has been going around. It lasts for 24-48 hours. You will just have to let it work itself out. Drink plenty of water so you dont get dehydrated.

Don't know about curing it but really really make sure that you do not dehydrate. Drink plenty of water. You might need rehydration mix to get your electrolyte levels back.
