Basically:
Izzie donated the money anonymously to let the girl have the surgery on her back. Later she stands up to Dr. Bailey and tells her she can be an emotional surgeon and she isn't changing.
Yes, sadly, George's dad does die and George figures out that they really didn't need to do the surgery but that his dad asked for it. It hit him hard. It was a real tear-jerker.
The silent-game is about to end between because Burke told Shepherd and update on his hand with no tremors in front of Dr. Yang.
Meredith starts thinking about her dad more and finally asks why he left to get his side of the story. George's dad made her think about it.
Addison told Kalli about her abortion she had of Mark's baby and that it was her actual due date. She was depressed and went to the bar where she did make out with Alex again. She told Mark she didn't want to have the baby with him because he would be a terrible father.
I think that sums it all up. It was a very good episode and T.R. Knight did an excellent job with all of his scenes. He had me balling! Catch the reruns if you can.
