I have just purchased an Xbox 360, and was wondering if it was worth buying the original Halo game? Does it still stand up to the quality games being released now like Gears of War, Tom Clancy Vegas etc. I know that Halo 3 is out soon but the original Halo deal could be a bargain.

I would Buy halo, its a cool game even if the graphics are a bit old, but it gets you set for the other Halo games, If you like the campaigns, you should get it as the story line is connected throughout, if you do it for the internet playing just get Halo 2.
Its a nice idea to get both especially if you can get them cheaply as they are fantasic games and would be quite cool as a set.

Well All Halos Are Good But I Think It Would Be A Waste Of Money. I Would Get Halo 3 Because The First Halo It Graphics Are Not That Good.

If you have XBox Live Gold then it's worth it. Halo (and Halo 2) are great games to play on-line or with friends on multiplayer still. Even though the graphics are slightly outdated, it's a lot more fun than some of the newer ones.

Sure. The original Halo is really cheap, probably becasue it's been out for a long time. It doesn't stand up very well when compared to those new games, but if you like cool FPS games, get Halo.

I've got Halo and Halo 2, but hardly ever play on them any more on my 360. But when i do, i still think they are the best two games i own even compared to games like GRAW or Rainbow Six Vegas.

Yes its a great game iv only played halo 2 but i prefer it more than gears of war! i also recommend prey its my fav game!

When I first played it on the Xbox it was outstanding. Now I have an Xbox 360 it is like playing frogger without a colour television.
Naff and boring. Trust me - keep your money for something worthwhile!
