following Monday. You know with the brown color at the end. Well Me and my boyfriend had sex on Saturday night and I just stopped bleeding and haven't bled since. I am on birth control and this has never happened. I don't think that I am pregnant, I just thought this was really weird. We already have a four year old, so I have been pregnant before and have had periods since, But this hasn't happened. Tell me what you think, please!!!

I would not be overly concerned. For instance. I usually stop in the the middle of my period for a day or two. If I have sex during that time I will start back right after. Or if I have sex right at the end of my period it will cause me to start back for a day or too. So I would not be concerned that anything is wrong. But if you are worried then I would call your doc and see if you can speak to the nurse. They can usually tell you right away or talk to the doc themselves. It would save you a visit to the gynco. Good Luck!

I would not be overly concerned having sex can either jump start your period or it can end it. Don't be surprised if you spot in the next day or 2. If your overly concerned about being pregnant test. But honestly I wouldn't worry. You may have just a shorter cycle than normal which is OK.

You wouldn't just completly stop suddenly after sex if you were pregnant.
Probably because you had intercourse it cleared you out and finished what was left.
Kinda of a plus to having intercourse, got you off your period faster :-P

It's highly unlikely your pregnant since your on birth control too.

good luck!

periods aren't very exact. they will always vary. some people when they have sex it can bring on their period. it sounds like yours was just rather short. if you're concerned call your doctor, but really i can't imagine it being a big deal.

also, you might want to reconsider your bc method. if you don't want to get pregnant, you might want to do something a little safer than the pill (i'm guess you're on it) like an iud. best of all, your periods basically cease on it!

Your best bet is to tell your gynocologist (did I spell that right?). Just tell a doctor, and see what they think. I'm a boy, so I can't help you. I'm verry sorry this is happening. Hope you get it under control!

I don't think anything is wrong - but I would call your doctor and ask them all the same - then maybe you will be a little less worried.

usually when your blood is brown that means your period is ending. i really don't think there is a problem at all.

If you are on pills for sometime this can happen as the hormonal balance is not proper .
