People will adapt to the change in temperatures and weather patterns just fine. But our food sources might not. Think about it - we just had a little cold snap in the western US, and now at least 80% of the citrus crop is dead. With global warming, things like that will happen more and more often - crops dieing due to heat, cold, too much rain, not enough rain, etc. And when crops die, not only do we run out of food for us, we run out of food for our farm animals.
