Honestly, the man is a monster, loosely based on an actual man who killed and ate CHILDREN.

Am I alone here, or do you agree that the last thing we need to be paying good money to see is the story of how he got his start?

No wonder this world is so ****** up...........

Yes, just like we need another movie about the Texas Chainsaw Massacre because 10 movies just aren't enough. *Please note the sarcasm*

There is no problem in having another movie about Hannibal Lecter. It does no harm to the world. These movies are doing more good than they are harm. Personally, I love the character of Hannibal Lecter and I love the movies and books. These movies allow us an insight into the minds and ways of serial killers throughout the world. The fact that we understand the minds of serial killers enough to make movies about them and their back stories is fantastic. Also, movies like The Hannibal Lecter trilogy inform people that psychopaths and serial killers do exist and that you should do your best to avoid them. I think I have said enough.

Hannibal is not a monster. He's a fictional character. He is also not responsible for the state of the world. Neither is Albert Fish, the killer he was based on.

You guys don't actually think a movie about a serial killer makes someone become a serial killer, do you????

Personally, I like this character. Especially if it is to be played by Anthony Hopkins.
It is called "entertainment"....
Have you watched the NEWS lately??? That is where the REAL Fu*ked up stuff is!!
Movies, books and music aren't the problem. They are REACTIONS to what is going on in the REAL world.

A good zombie movie would be better. I agree with you. As much as I love Anthony Hopkins... I truely dislike the Hanibal movies.
Now if it was staring John Stamos and his frickin' awesome mullet... That might change my feelings.

Yeah, I agree, we really don't need any more movies to give others ideas on how to do certain crimes. This world can do without another horror film. :)

I would never pay to see a movie like that. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't watch it if it were free... or even if someone offered to pay me to watch it, I would choose not to.
