What is the best inexpensive colorstay lip color? Something you can purchase at Walgreens, Target, etc.... I tried Revlons and its not so good. Flakes off onto your teeth if you eat or drink anything.

use a matte lipstick and then on top use a lipstick sealer purchased from a beauty supply store--the color will last forever--that's how I keep my red lipstick from bleeding onto my teeth or fading

Color Stay lipcolor usually don't last very long and if they do- they usually end up with the same results you experienced. They flake off, look dry or uneven. The only color stay lipcolor I found to be highly effective is M.A.C. It is a little expensive- about $17 or $20 but it is worth it because you only have to put it on once. Once it sets in, it isn't going anywhere. M.A.C. is actually my favorite because they have high quality cosmetics at relatively descent prices considering all the other products out there. In addition, they don't test on animals nor do they use animal products in their cosmetics. M.A.C. is more commonly found in Canada and Europe but you can go to a Macy's or the M.A.C. website.

look if you put foundation powder on your lips first and then apply color thenit will stay longer but i use cover girl colorstay
