Some of the bills are in his name and some are in my name. Some are in both of our names. For example: The gas bill is in both of our names, the electric in his name, and the cable is in mine. Also some of the bills are in my name that was used for both of us. And vice versa. What are the rules or basis upon which these are divided. Or even a website to view guidelines on this. Any advice would help.

Yep, sex doesn't always end after one year, it reduces over a long term. So at some point in time the man has to weigh his options and decide when to get out. the largest problem in marriage is when kids are involved. The man not only has to split common property, but also pay for the kids. No win situation. Unless the gamble works out an the man and woman actually work all problems out and, not fairy tale land, live happily ever after.

All the bills should be added up to get to a total, and then halved. This can be sorted out together with your lawyer. Otherwise go to the website. Antinuptual Contracts and see what they say. Also depends on how you are married. ?

He is responsible for the ones in his name. You are responsible for the ones in your name. The ones in both of your names if he doesn't pay, you're stuck with them and vice versa.

while married---and residing in the same household...bills should ge paid as usually...after separating...regardless of where each reside...the bills u create are your own responsibility..i would quickly change the phone, gas, ele, etc...to be in your name only if u are residing in the family dwelling...if not move out and make sure to cancel those that are in your name...

I think you should take care of anything with your name on it, because he could say he is going to take care of it and end up messing your credit up. Make arrangments now while creditors are willing to break up payments.
