oh yeah it does, lol.
Success was using the potty without fail
Getting away with something your parent said no to
Then getting out of school
Finding love
Getting married with family
Watching your children succeed
Getting through the day without a nap
Eventually making it to old age is now what I consider to be success. Being able to sit on my porch and complain about kids these days and the horrible weather.
The older we get the more priority we place on somethings and laugh about the others.

I think when you are young you don't really know what makes you happy, you tend to people please to get others to like you. Then you realise that doesn't make you successful or happy so you try something else. The older I am the more I know about what makes me truly happy, and the more confident I am to act on that information. I think its all a learning curve about what you don't want/need.

I don't think it has to do with age specifically. I think it is related to our priorities, what we feel is important. For people who change priorities, it does seem to happen as we get older. However, some people don't change their priorities at all up to the day they die. Therefore, that person's interpretation of success probably never changes either.
