i love the song by F.M. static definately mabey and in the song it says "and she lived in the heart of america." and i dont know what the heck he's talking about. do you?

The term "the heart of America" usually means the geographic Midwest. Many states lay claim to this title. To me, "the heart of America" is a symbolic phrase that describes the friendliness, optimism, and 'can do' attitude of most Americans. The songwriter could have intended either one of these meanings, or both of them.

The Heart of America may refer to the Heartland of America. This is the region that includes southern illinois, Missouri, kansas, Kentucky, Indiana. right in that area. I think it is called that because alot of the US crops come from that area, Like corn,wheat and soybeans.
