its okay, you can continue having sex while you are pregnant. unless, you have a high risk pregnancy, and otherwise your doctor would tell you if you did or not. and it cant hurt the baby's head, just make sure that you go gentle, and dont let him press up against your stomach. you can have sex until the day that you go into labor. sometimes sex actually even can start labor.

i read online that you can have sex, but just wear a condom, and dont let him *** inside you. Because i guess that *** can start labor, really late in pregnancy.

As long as its ok with your doctor you can have sex until your water breaks...Neither of you will hurt the baby it is plenty protected in there. Just find a position that is comfortable for you, side lying or woman on top or woman on partners lap facing away are some to try (these keep belly from being in the way). Once your water has broken DO NOT HAVE SEX, or take a tub bath these introduce risk of infection. But as long as you're healthy and not at risk for preterm labor GO FOR IT!!!!!! Ask your doc for more details if you are still concerned...

The baby is well protected in your uterus so when you do have sex baby has no idea what is even going on. Usually sex is safe through entire pregnancy unless doctor says otherwise. Until sex is too uncomfortable or just not in the mood there's no reason to stop, until labor begins...who would want to have sex with those contractions!! Lol.

I never stopped! You have to do what is comfortable for you and the baby and no, it does not hurt the baby or his/her head. The only time you cannot have sex is after you have the baby. This usually takes 6 weeks. Good Luck!!

Not until your water breaks or your doctor say so. Baby can't feel anything, don't worry about that. Actually sex later in pregnancy can help to bring on labor. Not the act of sex but the sperm he may leave inside you doctors say thins you out and dilates you. It worked for me I was not dilated at all had sex 3 times a day (instructed by my doc) for 3 days when I went back I was at 3 1/2 . Good luck and don't worry you are safe to still have sex!!!

You do NOT need to stop unless intructed to do so by a doctor. You would basicly need to have a medical condition or in preterm labor for the doctor to restrict sex. Any pregnancy that is normal and no risk factors have absolutly no reason to stop sex. The only factor is after your water breaks (which always seemed so OBVIOUS to me lol). It can't hurt the baby in any way! Good Luck!

You don't have to stop unless your doctor insists. The only time it is unsafe is after your water has broken, because you can introduce bacteria. (However, at that point you will most likely not be thinking about sex!)- The babies head will not be effected by intercourse at any time, and is safely protected by your bag of waters.

Enjoy- once the baby arrives your energy and drive for love making will decrease- so make it a priority now.

Good luck!

You can not hurt the baby having sex. You are still capable of having sex. The cervix will not allow interference with the baby. You should not have sex if told by your OB doctor.

According to doctors & stuff I have seen on the internet, you dont have to stop. And you cant hurt the baby. I even heard that if you are over due sex can bring on labor. I think they said its something in sperm.

My doctor always told me to go home and have as much sex as i wanted...Unless it hurt or started bleeding...When i got close to my due date she told me sex could help start labor...So have fun until ur baby comes....Congratulations =]
