what item(s) that you own make you feel vulnerable?

i am reminded of my weaknesses every time i look at my ____. yet i wouldn't part with it, not ever!

im not sure if this is exactly what you mean but.... my 3 yr old, my pets. what would truely happen to them if something bad happened to me? (knock on wood it wont) also i dont feel i own my son. im just responsible for him. having a child kinda mellowed me out. i dont take the risks i used to. thinking about my son growing up without me makes me feel very vulnerable. i never would be able to part with my son or my pets!!!
