ok i am an expert on this 1!!
according to child support new rules its 20% of your take home for 2 or more kids 15% for 1.
Regardless on how much you have them or what you buy them
stinks in some cases but thats the law.

Depends on whether your wife is working or not. How much did you give her when you were together. Do you have a property to rent and bills of your own to pay now. If so, how much is left. Then work out what you need for daily your recreational money and see whats left. Its good that you have your kids that often and are willing to contribute freely towards your kids. When my husband left, i never got a penny maintanance for 3 shildren in 18 years and when they were little I can count on 1 hand how many times he took them and it was for a hour here and an hour there.

Depends on your earnings - unless you take over £30 k most likely £300 a month ( I earn £28 k ).
You should be very grateful that you see your kids as much as you do - me and most other fathers seem to get a lot of grief from their x even though they have new partners.
Pay what you can afford and give the kids what the need most a Father in their lives.

It doesn't matter that you have the children 2-4 times a week the law says you have to give your ex one third of your salary to your ex and one third of what you give your ex to each of your children until they finish education including uni been there it's a hard road good luck maybe u both can work something out TALK TO HER.

seriously it is 25% for one child then an extra 5% for any other children there after if the children stay over at your house more than once a week then it will slightly decrease the percentage but the children must stay over night for this percentage to fall

The court orders the amount you pay for support---and it is based on gross pay. It doesnt matter how much "extra" ya do--but it is wonderful for your children to do more and let them know how much you truly love them.

Go through the child support office and let them give what they think is right. That way you dont over pay or under pay.
