That's a tough question, because he pulls a lot of pranks on Dwight in every episode.

Which prank in particular do you mean?

It's called "Conflict Resolution" from Season 2. Michael takes over all the complaints filed at Dunder Mifflin. There is an entire file of Dwight's complaints against Jim for all the pranks he's pulled on him over the years (which Tobey has been telling Dwight he sends to corporate, but he actually puts in a file under his desk!). Michael describes each of the pranks...which Jim realizes sound mean when put one after another. The nickel one is mentioned in this episode, however my favorite is in "The Fight" when Jim puts Dwight's desk in the bathroom!

-Jello in the stapler (the pilot episode).
-Relocated Dwight's desk to the men's restroom. ("The Fight")
-Placed Dwight's wallet and desk items in the company vending machine, which he had to buy back with a bag of nickels. ("Booze Cruise")
-Paid coworkers five dollars to call Dwight "Dwayne" for an entire day. (Mentioned in "Conflict Resolution")
-AND MY FAVORITE.... Incrementally increased the weight of Dwight's telephone handset using nickels, then abruptly decreased the weight, causing Dwight to smack himself in the face with the phone. (Mentioned in "Conflict Resolution")
