There are various ways to download music off the internet. One of the easiest ways is to go to an artists myspace page. there are a ton of filesharing programs from ones that you pay a one time fee for to be optimal use, to total free ones, limewire being one of the more popular. You always run that risk of being caught. You coulud always go to your local walmart and purchase an itunes card and set up an account through itunes and download to your hearts content that way. Totally legal.

yes there are alot of free sites like limewire but the also have viruses that will screw up your computer . try going to your local library and getting all the music you want for free
