It's unlikely we will see it in our lifetimes. There are too many people on our little planet and too many of those people choose to manipulate others to fulfill their deep need for a sense of power. (over their lives) If they only knew that true power is found within...they would not seek to "take it" from others. When the balance of power (in our world) is found with the ones who draw from within and share with others, then the world will begin to heal and come closer to that "global village" you speak of.

Many evils are to be destroyed to make that village peaceful. If you wish to live in that village, clean up your mind and watch on. Hope it will take place within your life time.

I don't think the cancer of the planet known as humanity will last that long. Humans have evolved to far for their own good. We are far too dependent on our technology. Once that is gone, humanity won't last. It is probably a good thing too. We wreck everything we come in contact with.
