theres is a screw adjuster on the side of most of the adjuster knobs inside the top cover turn a quarter up or down to see the effect just below yellow glow flame is best that means tips blue and the flame is burning all the fuel or they may have the adjustment on the line for the pilot lights,, go to the local library and ask for the manual to repair this brand they carry most of all the major appliance brand repair manuals i do my own repairs on most things

Change it? Like replace it? most states require and repairs on gas stoves or oven most be done by a qualified person. You might get that information from a book but to buy the parts you will need to show some proof of profession.
