Actually, regarding China, because of their one child policy the ratio of men to woman of marrying age is now about 2:1.
Imagine how many frustrated Chinese men there are going to be looking for a way to vent. I imagine it could very interesting to be gay in China. Probably dangerous, too.

I presume you mean population.
I thing the figure is MUCH closer. Approximately 50.5% men to 49.5% women, but don't take my word, this is from memory.
If you are actually talking about which is better, then your question is pure nonsense.
