Get lots of sleep and take it easy when awake. Eat lots of vitamin C or citrus fruits. Take long steamy showers or hot baths. Remember...The cold is a virus and there is no cure. Your body must kill it. good luck. jason

Sounds like you have some kind of sinus/ear infection going on, too.
Emergen'C is good stuff ($5-$7 at Wal-Mart). It's a powdered drink you mix with water. Comes in strawberry, tangerine, lemon-lime, maybe a few others - I'm not sure.
For your ear, put a little Vicks on a cotton ball and put it in the affected ear. This helps with the pain and keeps the air out.
Drink tons of water, maybe 10 cups or more a day, not just gatorade.
A good home remedy for the sore throat is a cup of hot water, mixed with lemon and honey. It tastes better than the conventional cough drop (cough drops are icky after a while and make your teeth scuzzy!).
Vicks is good on your throat and chest, also. Then wrap those areas with a towel and put a hot water bottle on your chest. It feels cozy and helps the Vicks get to work on doing its job.
Hope you're feeling better soon! :)

Drink hot lemon tea (2 lemons) with crushed garlic. Steep the garlic in boiled water (1 cup full only). Add the juice of 2 lemons. Also add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Drink while still hot and try to swallow the crushed garlic along with the tea. Don't eat or drink anything for at least 1 - 2 hours before and after. Do this again 4 - 6 hours later. It will cure whatever ails you in 24 - 48 hours.

Sounds like a bad head cold. Try some Tylenol or Ibuprophen. This will help for your aches and your dizziness. Drink lots to keep your throat moist and suck on some Halls or cough candies. You could put Vicks Vapour rub under your nose to help stop the running. Hope you feel better.

Get rid of the Gatorade, it can actually dehydrate you as it is full of electrolites (salt). Drink lots of water and hot tea. Try to say away from sugar and alcohol. Take a really hot bath and then go straight to bed with sweats on. You will sweat and that will help kill the bug.

It sounds like you have worse than a cold. You should go to the doctor before you get any worse.

try some home remedies. Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. More details and home remedies available at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html
