If every storm is a "warning from nature," then Mother Nature has been crying "wolf" for a very long time.

No - severe storms occur from time to time.
The last big storm was in 1999 and before that the Hurricane that hit the south coast.
What is more worrying is the general temperature patterns in the UK.

Earth has existed for millions of years and we dont have actual records of environmental fluctuations. There use to be many other natural calamities than what we see today. for sure we have utilised natural gas for quite long time now and carbon dioxide levels have risen to give rise to Hot Globe situation. Still not that bad....we are getting -45c somedays here in winnipeg. But right answer would be that Earth breaths every couple of years like that.

We all know how peaceful this planet has been over the billions of years if its existence. Yes, a few strong winds in jan 2007 is the complete exception to this.

It may be difficult for some people to understand but we, the human race are also part of the world of nature and that our actions are as natural as any other creature on this planet.
Global warming may be happening but it's far from certain that man is to blame.

No- down here where i stay it was snowing but now it is raining and it has 2 be 2 degrees tomorrow and on sunday it has 2 be 1 degree and we are to b cauld lol.

this weather has happened before and that was ages ago, i believe these things just happen, although with the actual climate rising then yes that is her warning to us, to buck our ideas up
