my n3230 phone memory stated that it have 800++kb and used up 5k++kb memory. but i didnt install so many applications into phone memory...(i only installed 2 or 3 software into p.memory) the first question.. why is this happened??
second, how to clear the memory back to normal but not affect the messages that stored in phone memory??
third, any idea how to transfer the messages from phone memory to memory card??
help me (or us) guys~!

What you see and what you get are two different things. Memory has to be allocated for internal phone applications. Like you would need memory to run the program which handles allocating memory to different applications. If the manufacture says you have 800 kb of memory, that is how much you would have if it was COMPLETELY blank. But they forget to tell you that they have used some memory to run your cell phone.

You have to have the cable to connect your phone to the computer. You have to download the driver for your cable, located on the Nokia site, then download the URL below. From here you should be able to transfer stuff from the HHC card to the computer and vice versa. If you buy a card with more memory check the internet as they are way lot cheaper than the store. I use a mini SD memory card. So i guess you would have to get the cable and program loaded first. Then transfer to the pcsuite, then transfer to the memory card.
