racism is ignorance, people who are racist have around the same level of intelligence as a rock, racism is feeling superior to people you don't know, it is making unfounded assumptions about a person due to their skin colour, their accent, their origin, the truth is that within every society there are customs and traditions which are both positive and negative, people need to try to improve their own society by trying to see the negatives in their own life and improve them, then see the positives in other peoples lives and learn from them,

all people are beautiful

Racism is remarks or gestures used against someone of another colour. Whites, Blacks, & Other Nationalities use this & they can't say they don't. But what gets me is that if a white person uses racial remarks or gestures, then everyone blows up about it, but if a black person does this, nothing gets said. Its like it is ok for them to use racism, but they dont want it used against them.
As long as people, no matter your colour, act this way there will be no end to racism.
Alot of people classify so many things as racism, it depends on the person, their race, how they were raised & such.
I dont think any racial forms are ok, but we all use them at some point. Even if you dont realize it at the time. Maybe you dont know what others of another race consider racist.

There is a nation wide social ladder. If you are on the top of this ladder society has given you the power to be apart of a race that is superior then the one below. So racism is nothing more than a race that has the power (used as a very complex word) to teach that their race is superior and others are inferior.

Nothing remotely racist is "OK", although what is alleged to be “Racist” seems to change with every tick of the second-hand on the clock...

Racism in its truest form pertains to the intrinsic hatred of an ethnic kind differing to that of the supposed racist. It does not pertain to skin colour, religious nuance or creed, nor does it relate necessarily to country-orientation. What it DOES mean however, is a hatred of a differing ethnicity or custom, traditionalistic view or milieu. An Asian can hate a White person from “West”, or vice versa, making the hater Racially Prejudiced, as he innately dislikes the other person on the grounds of what is usually independent ignorance on their own part, a misunderstanding of customs or a fear of what they don’t know or cannot comprehend as being normal to their given habitual predilections. Some can claim that this only exists in those who are less intellectual than the accepted average, but it is actually naturally instinctive, a flock mentality. Modern Labour-party elitism, shares these mentalist views; a need to follow the flock and stay true to those closest to you for fear of being outcast or ridiculed for thinking differently to the “trendy” clique-leaders, and heaven help you if you dare to! Freedom of thought or speech that differs from what you are SUPPOSED to free-think is a definite faux-pas!

Which brings me neatly onto what is considered:

In Great Britain anyway, as “racism” in a modern perspective. It is a failure to COMPLY with the given politically-correct views seen in the Government-controlled public light as “right thinking”. Anyone who questions or attempts to quash the absolutism of the supposed “right-thinking” elite, or their pro-ethnic organisations built to satisfy a self-loathing extreme-left wing lunatic asylum, is branded a “racist”, in order to silence, or ridicule them and forbid them from staging an appropriate opposition to what is fundamentally a regime, put in place to force a failed multi-cultural experiment on an already multi-racial society, living within one overall culture of integrated traditions and incorporated customs, which needs to evolve, it does not need rapid-changing by “trendy” modernistic indoctrination.

On the radio, some expert said that racism is anything said by any person to another which is perceived by the victim or the public as a racist comment.
So, lets say the racist person is "John" and the victim is "Bob":
If John says something racist to Bob, but Bob doesn't find it racist however, "Jane" on the street thinks it is, then that comment becomes racist.

Racism is judging people based on their race, usually with one's own race being superior, and one or all the others inferior.

What do you mean "even people of the same race will have opposite views"? Of course. People of the same race are not identical to each other.

That's the whole point.

Something that im so tired and sick of hearing about.Something that has been blown totally out of proportion over the past few years and something that people need to stop using at the drop of a hat.It has become wearsome and people need to chill out a bit.Its a word that people use far too much for any reason lately and it happens in all races and religions and i think British people are getting accused of it for no real reason lately. What about what we have to put up with?yet i dont go running around shouting and accusing people of racism!!!

Racism is the irrational preconceptions held by any individual on another, based soley on race.
I notice that some writers view this as something that only white people can be guilty of, but this is nonsense and symptomatic of a society where good conscience has been taken advantage of SOME, in orsder to try and advance their own ends.
NON WHITE PEOPLE, SUCH AS MYSELF, CAN BE JUST AS RACIST AS ANYONE ELSE.
Interestingly, racism is not restricted by race!

Racism:
"The belief that some racial groups are naturally superior and others are inferior." You have enviormetal racism: deliberately putting incinerators and other types of hazardous waste in/next to minority communities. Then you have institutional racism/discrimination: that is how administrators screen applications to keep certain people out of the work place.

Prejudice:
'Attitudes of aversion and hostility toward the members of a group simply because they belong to it and hence are presumed to have the objectionable qualities ascribed to it." Allport, 1954; Devine, 1989

Discrimination:
"Members of one or more groups or categories in society are denied the privileges, prestige, power, legal rights, equal protection of the law, and other societal befits that are available to members of other groups."

Mush more terms but that's basically the core.
