Should i wear fake eyelashes?

Question

i have semi-formal tonight and i tihnk i want to try the fake eyelashes...all the celebs wear hem and they always look good?


girls who have worn them:do they look good? any tips? thanks

they do look good.... but it's annoying to put on. u have to have a lot of patience
you have 3 options
-entire lash strip
-pieces
-single lashes
the hardest to put pn and the single lashes, easiest are the entire strip
Entire Strip: take the lashes and line it up with your natural eye lashes and mark off where u need to cut[the strip would be longer than u actually need] apply glue and then gently press down, starting from the outer lid working your way inwards.
Single Lashes: place a drop of glue on a clean surface and using a pair of tweezers, drag the end of the eye lash into it and then apply to lid.
Pieces: you can apply a piece to the outer part of the lid and leave the inner lid natural. line with eye liner ofer the line to make it blend in more

I think they are great. Just make sure not to go too big or it will look out of place. The last couple of times I went to a formal I applied them myself (the times before I went to the salon and had them do it). It is super easy to do, just apply a thin line of the adhesive to the base line of the lashes, let it set (only takes a minute), and then place above your natural lashes on the end of your eyelid. Press to make sure you have a good hold, and you are good to go....then makeup as usual. If you are worried about not getting the right ones or putting them on correctly, you can always head to the salon or employ a friend's help. Take care, and have fun!

Despite what all the celebs and magazines say -- guys do not like girls to wear fake anything. We do not like gobs of makeup, fake eyelashes, fake boobs, fake hait color. We like girls to be natural!

Many celebs wear so much makeup and fake everything because many of them are really not attractive in real life.

Also -- the stuff the celebs wear is not the same as what you can buy. Theirs is professional and is applied by professionals.

Be yourself.

Add a few individual lashes to the outer part of your eyes. You don't need to put the whole piece of fake eyelashes on because that will make it look very obvious they are fake but if you only do the outer parts of your eye, it'll look more natural in my opinion.

Otherwise, if you want to use the whole thing, g'luck. It'll make your eyes stand out, nonethless.

i love them.. it will only look good if its worn correctly.. people dont like fake stuff but sometimes for formals its necessary to go there, when trying to look good.. i would prefer to use the glue on since its for one night. they have different styles of lashes.. so ask a consultant for what looks good for your eye shape.. and to apply just lightly apply glue and wait 30 seconds to let it get sticky and apply slowly from the inside ends to the outside. but before you do that.. put it on to see it u need to cut the ends off because sometimes it could be too long.

It looks different on different people. it might look good or bad on you.
You should try it on and ask family or friend to see how they like it. Otherwise try the eyelashes press. It can bring the eyelashes out bit.

i agree with the girl above who said it's better to wear a super-mascara cuz that's more normal on people like us. unless of course you are a celeb, but you'd ask your image designer.. anyway good luck tonight

well fake eye lashes hav their pros and cons
pros: (dependin on which brand u get) u look awesome with them
con: the glue mite get or leave residue or lil flakes on ur lashes
also in process of puttn them on or takn them off u myt take sum of ur own in the process depends on how gud u are puttn them on

my suggestion, deafinately don't wear them...i had a competition, and i was wearing them, and they 1st glued my eye closed, then fell off, and got all the judges laughing at me...
what i do recomend is gettin the XXL mascara...it works really good, and it makes your eyelashes bigger and fuller...it's two sides, one is white (you apply that one first) and the other is black (you apply that ontop of the white)
it works really good, and i think the brand is maybeline, but don't quote me on that, cuz i forget what brand it is...

You can if you want to, but don't put them really close to your eyelashes because they are really hard to get off and would pull your real eylashes off. I will NEVER wear them. But thats just my opinion.
