Hmmm...sounds like he may be a little insecure. I know you said that you're not a lesbian and obviously you are with a man right now, but maybe he's worried that the more you watch the show the more curious you'll become. And although two women together sexually is supposedly every mans fantasy, it wouldnt be much of a treat for him if you tried it once, loved it & then DUMPED him!. So, yea. He's probably just insecure & shocked that you're so interested in the show. Do one of 2 things: reassure him that you are not bicurious, you just really like the show! I mean it is a damn good show. Or....if you really have become curious (just a little maybe??), and u know you want to experiment, BE HONEST. Dont have him wondering and worried about it Just tell him! Hope this helps. :-)

The L Word is a TV show.... its not real, its made up. (well, Im sure there are people like the characters) a lot of the actresses on the L Word are not even lesbians but straight women or bisexuals. (The only one we know for sure that is a lesbian in real life is the actress playing Alicia who is very open about it)
I Love The L Word.... but I also watch TV shows with straight couples just cause the show is funny and I enjoy a good laugh or drama.
Sounds like your boyfriend doesn't like you watching the show... who cares... if YOU like watching the show, then watch it.
You have every right to watch whatever you want to watch.
Watching the show will not turn you bisexual or a lesbian... a LOT of straight women and men have and do watch the show.
Tell your boyfriend to do something else if he doesn't like the show.
If he is controling.... please ditch him. You don't need someone like that. :-) If he really loves you, he wouldn't care what you were watching. We all have our likes and dislikes but it doesn;t mean the person we know or are with has to like it or not like it as well.

It's a free country you can watch what you want. He's probably intimidated by the fact that you like the show. Try reassuring him that it's only a TV show and that you are not a lesbian it might help.

Just because you watch the L word doesnt mean you want to be gay. thats just the male ego coming out of him. He might be insecure or jealous about it. Don't mind it...Its a man thing. I have straight friends that go through te same thing when it comes to them going out with me. I guess guys think that being a lesbian is contagious....lol....but I will say this......a woman in my book can make another woman feel 1000 times better than a man could....lol...just teasing.....but your fine...have fun kep watching....

Don't let him tell you what you can and can't watch you're a big girl, you can decide for yourself. Honestly what's the big deal it's just a tv show, he needs to relax. I would tell him to go ahead and watch whatever he wants, and I would continue doing the same thing myself!

It's a tv show and like most of them it's just another source for drama and entertainment.
Watch what ever you want. If he has a problem with it then tell him not to be around when it's on.

LOTS of straight girls watch the L word. If I were you, I'd tell him that maybe he should start watching like "Queer as Folk" or something; he might learn a thing or two about acceptance.

I watch tv shows that are all about straight people. It doesn't mean I want to be straight. Your boyfriend has control issues.

For heaven's sake, Child, watch what you want. If he doesn't like it, he can leave the room or read a book (he can read can't he?) while your show is on. Your relationship is a partnership not a dictatorship. Blessings.
