Personally I get disappointed when I bite in to one and get a plain caramel. I like caramels but in a box of chocolate I wish they were banned. I've learned that they are usually square though, so that helps. I really love it when a box of chocolates has a diagram on the inside of the top of the box so you can kind of plan out what you are getting in to *before* you bite in to it.
I don't care for minty stuff much, either.
Does anyone else put chocolates with one bite in them BACK in the box to eat later?
I also hate the jellies...blech. You don't see them too much more but....ick.
Favorites are any chocolate-covered clusters of nuts (cashews especially) even if this means they are combined with a little caramel. Then I love those flavored creme fillings like mocha & etc.

I will take a cheap box of chocolates with a map on the lid over Godivas any day! I also hate the jelly kind, plain caramel or truffle. I LOVE marshamellow, coconutty or nutty kind. I don't really like the strawberry cream as much, but I will eat them. However, Any of those jelly kind go right in the trash as soon as they are discovered.
Oh those coconuts. It feels like such a victory when I bite into one of those!!!

I like the caramel, and the nutty ones best. I hate the gels the most and the creams next. I usually eat the best ones first, cause the kids always find them and they'll eat the good ones, and squash the bad ones and leave em for me.

I usuall favor the coconut centers and the ones with some kin of a nut. I try to avoid the cherry center at all cost. I hate when you bite into them and all a sudden goo explodes in your mouth....Ok people get your mind outta the gutter. lol

I don't like the caramels that much either. I love chocolate or white chocolate trufles. Where it's all gooey on the inside! Yummy!

The last ones are the coffee ones-when i really want chocolate and thats all thats left i pick off th echoclate and bin the middle bit!

i like all the dark chocolate with nuts.
i hate th orange creme filled ones and yes i will take a bite and put it back in the box.

anything maple. icky. I always try to get a box that has the little map on it for you, but it sucks when you read it backwards and get something other than what you expected, which for me is usually that yucky maple one.
I like the fruit creams, like lemon or orange.

The ones with marzipan r just plain nasty! I like the fruity ones. Orange and chocolate are my fav followed by strawberry nd chocolate.

I prefer the ones with almonds or pecans. I hate the soft-filled ones, such as the orange or worse yet, the retched cherry kind.

I don't like the caramels so I won't eat those - too chewy and sticky for my liking. I don't like nut ones either.
My favorites are the buttercreams - those go first with me!!!
