China is a threat to all industry. They will be the leading economy in the world in our generation.

Poor work ethic, lack of quality consciousness and an undisciplined workforce is a threat to Indian industry. Chinese workers work with military precision, they take national pride in whipping other competitors. Indians themselves need to wake up and take the matter of competition seriously. Live and let live, and "chalo sab chalega" may sound good in beer halls, but global competition is economic warfare and serious business. Shoot not with bullets but with income statement and balance sheets. Like Swami Vivekananda said be a KARMAYOGI, and follow Bhagavad Gita's advice " focus on rightful actions enjoying the activity without worrying about the fruits your actions may bring."
So fellas produce quality products and get a kick butt economic soldier mentality.

No, it'll probably be just heavy competition. If India can continue to unshackle themselves from socialism, they will be an industrial giant.
Indians speak English well, value education, and are hard working. Many here in the US are very enterprising.

Hardware, they win. they are very reliable in production. software, no longer in the close to destiny yet sure if given the time. As of now Indians seem to have the Language benefit. :)

I don't think so... it will create compition.... Besieds like NAFTA in North America, they have trade agreements too... Both will benifit from each other.
