i was not impressed by the new superman movie. wentworth miller would have made a much better superman, and spacey as luthor i thought was gonna be sweet, but it wasnt. he shouldve had more airtime as well.

I cant believe I'm saying this but the older ones were better.
The new one just dragged and dragged, i can hardly remember anything the guy said in the movie because he was just flying around throughout the whole movie,Lois lane was extremely annoying,Clark Kent was completely useless and was practically ignored by everybody in to the movie,Lex luthor just talked and talked and talked.....
i hope the squeal will be better.

Old ones are better, in concrete the first two ones. Singer's new version was too cheesy and having a character like Superman nowadays with all that technology takes more than the Spacey-copycat-Hackman Luthor!

I just saw the new one recently and I was fairly underwhelmed. Then again I thought the originals were a bit too pansy. What I would like to see is a version of Superman 2 with modernized story line and fx.

it is "Superman: The action picture" starring Christopher Reeve because of the fact the guy of steel, Marlon Brando as his father Jor-El, Gene Hackman as Lex Luther, and Margot Kidder in her one-hit-ask your self function as Lois Lane. unsure while it replace into released, notwithstanding if it replace into someplace around 1978. terrific Superman action picture ever made IMHO...

I may like the new superman and watch other superman movies, but Christoper Reeve will always the my favorite "Superman".

New effects, old cast and writers. Maybe the next one (rumored to feature more than 1 villian, and a lot more action) will better bridge the two eras.

they should have chose a lesser known actor for Lex Luthor....
i thought it was an ok movie but it could have been better..
