your income tax would go up by several % as the government gets sooo much of it's money from taxing alcohol

Personally it wouldnt really bother me! Now I aint a T total person, as I enjoy a good night on the batter with my mates now and again! But I have been out before and just drank water/soft drinks because I was driving/on antibiotics and I realised that I had as equally an enjoyable time without drink! And I didnt have a sore head in the morning or a mouth like a badgers bum! AND I remembered to take out my contact lenses AND take off my make up!!!!

Well I would still go out because no one would be drinking and I guess all the bars would just mix us up some crazy energy drink.
I would miss not having a beer once in a while though but I think we would all adjust just fine if noone was doing it. I'm just glad its Friday and I will drink like there will be no more tomorrow, just in case.

I certainly enjoy a drink but if it was banned then I'd accept it as I refuse to pay over the top prices on any blackmarket
Yes people would still go out.

Alcohol is not what makes the evening, it is the wild and crazy sex but since alcohol is the precursor then I suppose I will have to stick to gaming and soda.

I'd learn to brew and make beer and wine in the basement.
This was tried once, it was called Prohibition, and it failed miserably. People need some anesthesia from the burden of everyday life.

People would start making it in their bathtubs and go blind and/or crazy as the result of drinking a bad batch, just like in the good old days. (Prohibition.)
Lucky for me I'd just as soon have some Oolong tea, huh? ;)

couldn't care less as I have a medical condition which prevents me from having anything with alcohol in content for consumption.
