Find the unit vector that has the same direction as the vector below:

It has to have the same direction as this vector so it has to go in the j direction. Unit vector means its length is 1 so the answer is 1j or simply, j.

Um... okay. The vector given goes directly in one direction from the origin. The unit vector has magnitude of 1. So, take a vector going directly in the same direction (straight positive on the j axis, with no i component) that has magnitude one.
