'Nazi' is an anglicized spelling of the pronunciation of NADSI which roughly stood for the German National Socialist Workers Party. Socialism is liberal, labor is liberal... The Nazis were horrible people with the slaughtering of 6 million Jews, 6 million Russians, and millions of Roma, Communists, and other 'dissidents'.

The neo-libs of today are similar because they slaughter countless millions of children and believe if you support Bush you are somehow 'sub-human'.

The "leftist" wing of the NSDAP (the SA) was eradictaed in 1937 due to a power struggle. These were the leftists that wanted to take over the german military and strike at factories. The SA was a roadblock to starting a war and violent street tactics scared the common german. The SA was for the "common" ethnic german and preached unity while the SS was elitist and championed the few.

No, no no... Although they called themselves "Socialists," they were NOT NOT NOT socialists. The Nazis HATED communism and NEVER attempted to create a socialist state -- just a dictatorial one. (Just like China is called the "People's republic" but of course, it's not a republic, and it doesn't belong to the people. And East Germany was the "German Democratic Republic" which was also not democratic nor a republic. So just because the word "Socialist" was in the official title of the Nazi parti doesn't mean that they were left-wing.)

And comparing abortion rights (which, by the way, is Constitutionally mandate) to genocide in concentration camps due to someone's race isn't exactly a fair comparison.

And liberals are not killing anyone who dissent. It's the conservatives who instantly claim that, if you dissent, you're "hurting America" or "anti-American" or "supporting the enemy.

Political scientists will all classify Nazis, along with fascists, as extreme right wing.

There name was national socialist, but they espoused many right wing ideas. They promoted private property rights, and were supported by the corporations and the church. They also believed in inequality based on race, religion, and sexuality which is not a left wing idea. Hardline leftists typically believe in the collectivization of public property and the equality and "equalizing" of everyone. You keep on mixing up neo-liberalism with liberalism.

The name is actually misleading.

Nazi's rejected democracy, liberalism, and especially marxism
In both popular thought and academic scholarship, Nazism is generally considered a form of fascism - with "fascism" defined so as to include any of the authoritarian, nationalist, totalitarian movements that developed in Europe around the same time

You are correct on all counts the liberals of today use misinformation, misdirection to sway the public into voting for them, during this years election they painted themselves as the reformers "we will fix it all" yes they will more than anyone realizes...
The modern day liberal party is all about enslavement by government social programs they do this by eliminating free Enterprise(small business) and freedom of choice this accomplishes one Major thing this totally eliminates the middle class...
This is also bush's agenda for the New World Order so i would say that socialism also takes other forms in it it's evil walk to destroy man...I think as do others that all the punch bowl floaters in D.C. are socialist and bent on our eventual destruction...

Socialism has almost always resulted in a totalitarian or authoritarian type of government. Just yesterday Hugo Chavez, darling of the neo-lib movement, was granted the power to rule by decree, rendering the legislature moot.

All of the infamous dictators have been left leaning ideologists, Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Castro, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, and now Chavez.

Socialism is not a liberal ideology. The Nazi Party was in no way socialist. Your poor grasp of history makes me laugh.

Everybody in today's right wing is in tune with the Nazis of WWII days.

They condone the use of torture.

They believe in white supremacy, and slavery.

They condone capitol punishment for not kissing their cheeks.

They even call you a traiter if you don't believe the same way Dick Cheney does.

They use secret wire tapping to spy on American citizens for any reason they deem necessary.

They are building "secret" torture chamber prisons all around the world.

Yes! They want peace... a piece of Guantanamo, a piece of Diego Garcia, a piece of Iraq, a piece of Iran, a piece of Syria, a piece of Venezuela, etc. etc.

A spade is still a spade.

Remember: the Nazis said "The Jews aren't human, we can kill them"

Liberals say "fetuses aren't human, we can kill them"

'nuff said.

And of course, the liberals are going to say "but that's different". Well, that's exactly what the Nazi's would have said.
