1.IE (internet explorer) top menu choose "Tools"
2.Scroll down to "Internet Options"
3.Brings up the "internet options" box. Click the "Security" tab.
4.The Internet icon is highlighted by default - you want this one (looks like the earth)
5.Click Custom Level.
6.Scroll down and find "scripting" and its sub-category "active scripting". Enable this.
7.Click ok here and ok in the security tab.
8.Close and relaunch browser.

First go to Sun and get the lastest Java software for your browser: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Then in Internet Explorere, go to Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced and scroll down to Java (Sun) and check the box.

Hit Apply, then OK. Close your browser and restart it. You should be all set.
