I want to make a scrapbook of our upcoming travels in Poland, are there any shops or stores that sell scrapbook supplies or stickers in Poland? I have have used local maps, phone cards, and LOT tickets as frames for pictures showing our previous journeys.

In the US there are plenty of craft stores and on-line stores that sell bumper stickers with PL on them or the Polish Eagle or Polish Flag, but I was looking for a shop in Krakow or Warsaw selling maybe Polish made scrapbook paper. Or is this just an American fad?

Thanks Millly for taking time to answer. I'm proud to be Polish, I married a native and adopted from Poland and I'm aware of the struggles and history of Poland. Poland is still growing and changing. I choose to spend my hard earned dollars while in Poland. I was only asking for information on products or shops in Poland.
As for not being down with the latest trends, Poland is up-and-coming - Hugo Boss in Krakow who would have imagined!
And for the record, my Polish born grand- mother kept a scrapbook with family pictures and pressed poppies with notes. I guess some Poles are down with keeping history...

some of the things i used.... zloty - the smaller denomination bills are quite attractive! the others are the various key cards, walking maps and things like that. even business cards of the places you'll visit. when we went to the salt mines i bought a container of the salt and did the old fashioned glue then salt on top - really looks neat. in torun i kept the bags and the box that the sweets came in. to get really fancy - watch for the small embroidered doilies - they are stunning. small polish flags are also handy!

you will be luckyif you do, i'm polish (but moved to australia) and most people don't even know what scrapbooking is in poland, it's probably a fad where you come from, cause you'll be VERY lucky to find a craft store with anything like that. we are a country of small cities and towns and busy lives filled with farming and hard work, we are not a rich counrty, nor are we poor, but we only use what we need...school supplies, food, groceries, accerosies and clothing. coulor-in books, stickers and poster paper is the colsest you'll find when it comes to scrapbooking, and you'll have to buy them sperate!!!

sorry, but in poland that's the way things are, we are not as well off or 'down with the latest trends' as many other eurpoian countries!

there are tons of stuff you can use for your scrapbook! When you are in Krakow or Warsaw, go to little stands, they always have something fun (in Krakow walk through Sukiennice). Also go to Empik, it's a store with books, music, movies... etc. they tend to have cool stuff. have fun, Poland is great!
