Acme is just a geeric brand name used for certain cartoons, the wod acme means "one" or the best or similar things to mean "best"

It is a ‘generic’ brand; if no actual appliance manufacturer wants to pay a fee to the animation house for a ‘product placement’, they are certainly not going to give them out for free! So they will use Acme.
(If I won the lottery, I’d start an Acme appliance plant, and get even richer because they’d give me all that free advertising! Until they caught wise. Then, they’d probably start using some other made-up no-name brand.)

Acme is a generic brand name that used to be carried by no one else, so it did not pose a threat to a company with other name. However now there are acme products out there now.

Because the ACME brand is the epitome of all products..eg.The Three Stooges were always the ACME Co., Wil E. Coyote, the same etc etc..ACME is the best!
