If the Women's pro All-Star team played a game against the Pro Men's All-Star's would it be close or a blow-out and Why?

It would be laughable. There are plenty of women who have great fundamentals, but their speed, athleticism, and strength could never approach that of the best men. The women would never have an uncontested shot, and the men would just be able to pound the ball inside all day long. The women couldn't stop the men's fast break, and they'd be unable to break any kind of pressure defense.

Lord knows there are plenty of women who are better than me at basketball, but at the highest level there's just no comparison between the two. Honestly, I think the men could win by 100 points.

In Tennis you have mixed doubles, but then you also have the womens and mens game too. Tennis is completely different to football though. If I was in a mens football team I wouldn't mind doing an exchange with you so I could play in an all womans team and you could join in the all mens. I think with football though if there was a professional mixed game separate from the mens and womens like there is with Tennis then you would need to have some sort of quota system so that you have at least 5 women in the team. If you had no quota system and it was on the basis of who was actually the best, then I'm afraid I don't think any women would get in at all escept for an extremely rare occurance of an exceptionaly gifted female footballer. Even if that woman was so gifted, still may not be quite at the standard of the worst man in the team. Perhaps there are some women who are really skillful at football I don't disagree with you, but would they also be highly rated in all other categories as well? E.g. Stamina, Strength, Arial ability, pace, tackling, zonal marking, offside rule etc etc. Being skillful alone doesn't cut the mustard you have to have a lot more.

Since you said pro -- it would absolutely be a blowout. However, it depends on if the men take it seriously. Now if you had a pro women's team vs. say the Grizzlies, then we might be talkin'. Haha...Good question. I think the competitive comparison ends in junior high. After that I think men just grow more physically dominant as a whole.

Great question. By the way no offense women. I think women are much more fundamentally sound than male basketball players. I actually enjoy coaching and watching women's basketball more than men's.

I think that the Tennessee Volunteers basketball team can take a couple of mens basketball team. Candace Parker would probably embarssed a couple of guys.

It would actually be pretty close but in the end the men would probably win. But if they did play it would bring up the problem of "Which size basketball would they use?"

let me put it in perspective for you, last night on ESPN Oak Hill Academy played Simeon in a spotlighted high school game. If you watched that game, you would've seen that those TEENAGERS were 10 times as physical and athletic as the most talented female player. No offense to the ladies, but you can find WNBA talent in any high school gym in the country

The men would KILL.... too fast, too strong, and they got hops...

A better matchup would be the WNBA All-Star team vs.... the Utah Jazz (NBA mens team) and the Utah Jazz would even kill em'
