Look under the bonnet. There will be one place for oil, one for your coolant and one for your washer fluid. If you know where the other 2 are then the washer bottle is the other.
Every car I have seen has it on the left side as you look at it stood from the front.

depends on the car but usually around the front or side of the engine there is a big plastic thing with hole in the top. Mine says washer fluid on it. If you can't find it, if there are any around anymore go to a full-serve gas station and get them to do it.

Raise the bonnet and look for a plastic squarish 'bottle' near the the fron. This will have (usually) a flip top lid attached. Theres usually a picture of water drops on the lid. Flip the lid and fill up. Make sure it is this one, and not anyother container. Have a look in the manual if you cant find.

At the Petrol Station but with free water ;-) ....nah only joking....... been there myself!
Under the bonnet (hood for amis)
Big Plastic bottle usually round(ish)
Hopefully with picture of what I think looks like a shower type thing.
Top Tip!
Don't put washing up liquid in by the way - takes months to flush out and you cant see where you are going!

You do not specify what car. Add it to the original Q and we might be able to tell you more accurately as generally the bottle is in similar positions but some cars have the fill point in the most peculiar of places

There should be a cap on a opening that has a washer fluid embem on it. It looks like two spray lines and a windsheild. At least that's how it looks on my car.
Or you can look in your manual and it should have a diagram of the engine.

Pop the hood. There should be a bunch of things with caps on them. Your wiper fluid goes in the one with a drawing of a windshield and wiper blade on it.
Please provide your cars make and model for more/better info
And check out the picture in my source

Under the bonnet, there'll be a bottle which has a plastic lid on it. The lid will have the same picture as the wiper switch in the car.
If you aren't sure which one it is, ask your dad to help.
